Essentially we are a club-based dive center (centre) under BSAC which is the largest dive club in the
world. We are a dedicated team and work in a friendly atmosphere of mutual support.
Our fully accredited (BSAC and PADI) dive centre (center) staff are teachers rather than instructors. In fact, owner, Dave Gledhill,
never appoints training staff on diving credentials alone.
Ideally located in the picturesque coastal town of Nerja, we enjoy the best weather in
Europe.
Nerja offers a wide range of accommodation and amenities as well as being only 15 to 25 minutes drive from the great dive sites and 40
minutes from Malaga on the new motorway.
Dave Gledhill, a diving veteran of 35 years, and ex Red Arrows senior aircraft engineer, acquired the business in 1995 and has
developed it into a family dive center and training facility to meet all modern scuba diving needs.
A qualified and highly experienced technician, Dave personally repairs and services diving equipment, to high precision, at
very reasonable rates.
Supporting outdoor activities and services are also provided.
Languages: Spanish, German, and English are spoken fluently.
The Nerja Dive Club: An independently run BSAC-affiliated social dive club has been formed in Nerja. It
organises social activities and facilitates low-cost group diving for members. A club member is currently building a website for the club and it
will soon be accessible here.
